HouseCook is a Toronto-based food company specializing in ready-to-eat meals, frozen food, and grab-and-go items. We operate from a licensed commercial kitchen in Burlington, Ontario, serving both families and organizations across the GTA.
Role Overview
We are seeking an
Operations Manager
to oversee daily kitchen operations, logistics, and customer fulfillment. This role is hands-on and requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage kitchen operations, production schedules, and team coordination
Oversee logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations
Support business-to-business (B2B) client orders and maintain relationships
Ensure smooth subscription and direct-to-consumer (B2C) order fulfillment
Monitor costs, margins, and implement process improvements
Assist with new product launches and operational growth strategies
Qualifications
Previous experience in operations, logistics, or general management
Experience in food service, consumer goods, or e-commerce is an asset
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of outcomes
Compensation & Growth
Monthly salary: CA$2,000.00 - CA$4,000.00 (commensurate with experience)
