Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager. Under the direction of the General Manager in Thunder Bay, the Operations Manager is responsible for supervising Secure Store's rental fleet maintenance, offsite and onsite servicing, and third-party contractor management.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, dismantling, repair, and renovation projects. Support the estimating process for all site work, retrofitting, and service work. Provide customer support and service call coordination for any issues. Monitor and create schedules for shop / yard and offsite work. Accountable for maintaining modular building fleet and yards (servicing, inspections, chargebacks, winterization, repairs, maintenance, and modifications) Ensure projects and service work are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget. Communication bridge between the shop / yard and office team (general manager and office manager) to execute on preparing rentals and maintaining fleet of trailers. Conduct safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment. Understand client site nuances, restrictions, and project management plan.

Skills

Post-secondary education, from a recognized accredited institution, in a related field is preferred, not mandatory. 5+ years of working experience in equipment servicing, construction, or with a service-based company (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, restoration, etc.), including budgetary responsibilities. Exceptional maintenance and operational project management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to execute and manage teams of 2-5 individuals. Willingness to be a hands-on leader - ability to assist shop / yard team with performing maintenance (basic carpentry skills is strongly preferred) Strong organizational skills and ability to work with customers to find solutions. Experience working in unionized environments and previous experience in the modular industry would be considered an asset. Strong capabilities with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
