PD International is a Canadian-based company specializing in the development and manufacturing of innovative recreational powersports and automotive products. PDI was founded as a company specializing in automotive drivetrain components; however, this has diversified into other powersports segments over the years. PDI currently focuses heavily on developing and manufacturing products for the off-road aftermarket. Over the last few years, the off-road segment of the company has experienced rapid growth, as evidenced by continually increasing sales of our leading brands, including Demon Powersports and Rugged ATV/UTV components. PDI is a market leader in the ATV and UTV market for heavy-duty performance components under its Demon Powersports brand.

Job Summary:



We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to lead and optimize all aspects of our distribution operations (warehouse, logistics, and procurement), in addition to improving efficiencies across the entire organization within the powersports and automotive industry. Mandarin is required for this position to collaborate effectively with our Shanghai office and Chinese business partners.

This role requires deep expertise in margin management, supply chain logistics, inventory control, and warehouse management, along with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, wear multiple hats, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a team-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

:

Margin management and calculations, procurement pricing, and sales price, in coordination with the General Manager and the Director Directly manage multiple teams and direct reports within the Company's Logistics, Procurement, and Warehouse departments Collaborate closely with departments including Sales, Procurement, Customer Service, Finance, and Product Management to streamline workflows and improve interdepartmental processes, driving efficiencies across the organization through implementation of procedures, including, but not limited to, process automation, system integration, and implementation of a warehouse management system Manage domestic and international supplier relationships, directly communicating with stakeholders in

Mandarin and English

, and lead project management in areas of shipping, lead times, and cost controls, in addition to managing shipping supplier relationships (UPS, FedEx, etc.) Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals Drive best practices across supply chain and inventory management, optimizing product flow and ensuring readiness to meet customer demand across powersports and automotive product lines Implement and oversee KPIs and operational metrics to assess performance, drive accountability, and identify opportunities for improvement Lead initiatives to enhance warehouse layout, process automation, and space utilization to support growth and scalability Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance, safety, and consistency across operations Mentor and manage warehouse and operations teams, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous learning Serve as a key escalation point for operational challenges, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and resolution Oversee logistics partnerships and transportation performance to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods Support business planning and forecasting with operational insights and resource planning strategies

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced certification is a plus) 7+ years of progressive experience in operations or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role--preferably within the automotive or powersports industry Demonstrated expertise in warehouse and inventory management systems (WMS/ERP), logistics planning, and supply chain optimization Proven ability to lead diverse teams, build strong interdepartmental relationships, and manage competing priorities Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting priorities Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to collaborate with the Shanghai office and Chinese business partners A passion for the powersports or automotive industry is a strong asset
