Skookum Operations managers will be responsible for overseeing all duties and responsibilities for proper handling of three retail locations. This role must have a mentally strong willed personality and yet be gentle and caring to others within the business. Monitoring the many aspects of retail operations will be a key role to operate as efficiently as possible.
Duties
Train and discipline employees
Gauge employee performance
Make weekly staff schedule while forecasting future events, in or out of the store.
Inventory management accuracy, control incoming inventory
Delegate tasks appropriately
Have a gentle demeanor and respect towards all employees
Meet weekly with each respective manager
Meet weekly with Service desk manager
Meet weekly with Ecommerce staff
Meet weekly with two other retail locations
Meet with staff every 2-3 months
Lead the team to success, Happiness and instill teamwork amongst the workplace
Qualifications
10+ years in leadership roles, preferably in sporting goods and/or resort retail
Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Director, or similar leadership role within retail or a related industry.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, financial reporting, and KPI tracking.
Excellent leadership and team development skills, with a passion for growing leaders.
Exceptional communication and organizational abilities to drive internal alignment.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and ability to hold teams accountable for performance.
Strong understanding of customer service standards and retail operations.
Experience in HR functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Ability to build and maintain relationships within the outdoor sports industry and local community.
Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks or other accounting softwares

Pay: $49,776.22-$70,000.00 per year
