JOB PURPOSE
The Operations Manager will provide leadership across all departments to ensure efficient, high-quality operations, compliance with ISO/IATF standards, and achievement of company objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing multiple projects, optimizing processes, and driving performance across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead day-to-day operations and support department managers to meet production, quality, and customer requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 procedures, policies, and documentation standards.
Identify operational improvements and implement solutions across sales, production, maintenance, quality, and purchasing.
Set departmental objectives and KPIs, regularly review performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage department managers, fostering engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
Prepare and present data for audits, quality reviews, and management meetings.
Oversee planning and resource allocation to ensure production capacity and efficiency.
Champion company culture, values, and team engagement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, executives, and external collaborators.
Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure objectives are achieved on schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Business Management, Enginering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF standards and quality management systems.
Must have experience with injection moulding and scientific moulding processes.
Proven experience managing a company with multiple customers and complex production schedules.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; confident engaging with customers and employees at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on collaboration and exceptional service.
