We are seeking a reliable, driven, and experienced
Operations Manager
to operate the day-to-day operations of our retirement community and our portfolio of commercial properties. This full-time leadership role offers a dynamic mix of property management, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations -- ideal for someone who thrives in an independent, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of a 180-home retirement communities (Meadowlark Village & Encore) including:
Rent collection
Tenant relations
Coordinating snow removal, lawn care, and general park maintenance
Serve as the main contact for a variety of commercial tenants in leased buildings
Supervise and coordinate with a small maintenance staff
Ensure the upkeep and functionality of irrigation systems and landscaping as needed
Respond to occasional after-hours issues and concerns
Some weekend and evening work will be required
Qualifications:
Experience in property management, maintenance coordination, equipment operation, irrigation repairs and comfortable with Landlord-Tenant relationship management
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience working with tenants, supervising staff and working with vendors a plus
