About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and grow our Toronto branch. This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced growth environment and is capable of overseeing day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvement and business expansion.
As part of a rapidly growing North American cabinetry group with its own manufacturing facilities, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the success of our Canada operations. This position offers broad scope, strong ownership, and cross-border collaboration with our U.S. leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant business execution.
Lead and support the customer service, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure high service standards.
Implement and maintain operational SOPs to improve productivity, accuracy, and customer experience.
Manage staffing, training, performance evaluations, and team development to build a high-performing team.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work culture.
Coordinate inventory planning, warehouse operations, and delivery logistics to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and logistics partners.
Support sales activities such as customer visits, project coordination, and after-sales issue resolution.
Work closely with sales and head office teams to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Work closely with U.S. headquarters to align branch operations with company standards and strategic goals.
Provide periodic reporting on operational performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or branch management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work both strategically and hands-on.
Preferred:
Experience in the kitchen cabinetry, millwork, building materials, home improvement, or related industry.
Experience working in a fast-growing or multi-branch business environment.
Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain processes.
Language Requirement:
English: Required
Mandarin: Preferred
Additional Requirements
Able to travel for business needs (approx. 10-20%), including vendor visits, training, and cross-branch coordination.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
