about this team

You will be a part of the Global Guest Innovation team. The team is responsible for identifying new ways to engage with our guests, globally and across channels. This includes creating new product experiences, developing new store formats, retail concepts and standing up new business models. The team is responsible for everything from market research, strategy, business modelling, operationalization, implementation and evaluation. We love strategic, resourceful and innovative people that excel at operations - recognizing business needs, collaborating and initiating action. This role specifically supports the Like New program, lululemon\'s signature trade-in and resale experience.

a day in the life: what you\'ll do

  • Overall responsible for managing operations across the Like New U.S business for both trade-in and resale.
  • This includes managing operational implementation across almost all departments in lululemon: retail operations, training, e-comm, retail tech, store design, digital tech, accounting & finance, product, analytics and reporting, GEC, DCs and fulfillment teams as well as our external vendors.
  • Lead the identification and development of program improvements and efficiencies to support Like New as a new business model, both on our in-store trade-in program and our online resale shop. This could include leading technology development and rollout, creating and delivering communications or training resources, defining and documenting processes, and driving alignment across internal / external teams and executives.
  • Tap into program analytics and insights (i.e. returns data; customer NPS scores) to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Manage all program supplies, submitting replenishment orders and coordinating shipments as required.
  • Coordinate all bulk product shipments, ensuring clear documentation and communication for all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with our internal support teams, the Educator Help Center and Guest Education Center, to monitor and triage escalated issues and broader program trends. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reoccurring issues.
  • Own and develop our program management practices and champion across the team (program calendar, initiative plans, program documentation, notes/actions/follow-ups).
  • Manage weekly operational reporting to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead the identification, management and implementation of the Like New innovation pipeline across our cross-functional partners and Trove.
  • Develop and execute operational plans for international scaling including: operational platform, geographic considerations and implementation plans for new markets
qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, Operations, Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience from similar roles such as management consulting experience, (retail) operations, cross-functional program management and/or start-up company
  • Entrepreneurship: you understand how to launch and scale a new business model and set up infrastructure to deliver on new ways of working
  • Delivery and execution: you\'re obsessed with operations and driving efficient, intelligent ways of working. You can manage large scale implementations across cross-functional teams, and you\'re able to influence other people\'s work and priorities outside of formal reporting lines
  • Strategy: you understand and assess opportunity areas and develop strategic plans that achieve business results
  • Financial acumen: you\'re able to read, analyze and track results vs forecast and identify actions based on financial data
  • Vendor management and retail stores experience preferred
