JJB Building Supplies is a privately owned and operated building materials supply company located in Kingston ON. JJB offers dependable products, expertise and dependability to a wide range of Clients in the Eastern Ontario region.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Operate our storefront location in Kingston ON.
Manage current and future stock items within our inventory system.
Place new and stocking orders with suppliers.
Organize logistics for shipment to our warehouse and to Clients.
Work with and maintain existing relationships with manufacturers.
Source and develop relationships with new suppliers and product manufacturers.
Develop and implement new strategies.
Managing budgets and monitoring operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and act decisively.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor financial performance and ensure that targets are met.
Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
