Operations Manager - GTA (Brampton-Based)

IMPORTANT: This role is based out of our Brampton warehouse and requires travel for training.

We are currently seeking a high-caliber Operations Manager to lead and scale our Toronto (GTA) operations.

This is a long-term leadership role with significant investment in training and development.

The Role

We are hiring an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, warehouse logistics, crew management, and dispatching for our GTA location. While moving industry experience is not required, a strong background in operations, warehouse management, or logistics leadership is essential.

This role is ideal for a dependable, solutions-driven leader who thrives under pressure and is committed to growing with the company long-term.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations from the Brampton warehouse

Lead, manage, and support crews and field staff

Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and logistics

Solve operational issues in real time and under pressure

Maintain high standards of performance, safety, and accountability

Communicate effectively with leadership and multiple departments

Support hiring, training, and performance management of crews

Training Program (Mandatory)

HK Movers provides extensive paid training, including:

30-60 days total training

~30 days in Edmonton

~30 days in Calgary

Flights and training expenses covered by the company

Due to this investment, we are only seeking candidates who are committed to a long-term role.

Requirements

Proven experience in operations, warehouse management, or logistics leadership

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage teams and handle high-pressure situations

Must live in the Greater Toronto Area

Must have own vehicle

High level of reliability, professionalism, and commitment

Willing and able to travel for extended training

Note: Moving industry experience is not required.

Interview Process

Stage 2: Group interview with senior leadership (leadership, operations, problem-solving deep dive)
