Parking Busters Ltd is a locally owned and operated company specializing in parking enforcement and towing services for residential and commercial properties. Following the loss of a key team member, we're looking for a strong leader to help us rebuild, streamline, and grow our operations. About the Role
As Operations Manager, you'll be the central hub of our business -- overseeing day-to-day operations, managing client relationships, coordinating dispatch, and ensuring our services run smoothly. You'll work directly with condo boards, property managers, and our towing and registration partners to deliver reliable, professional service. This is a hands-on role with leadership potential and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with condo boards and property managers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base
Draft, negotiate, and manage service contracts with new and existing clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service requests
Operations & Dispatch
Oversee daily dispatching of tow trucks and ensure timely response to service calls
Coordinate with drivers and monitor service delivery standards
Ensure proper documentation and communication between dispatch and clients
Track and manage vehicle releases, including verification and paperwork
Administrative & Financial
Generate and manage invoices for services rendered
Maintain accurate records of tows, releases, and client communications
Work with our parking registration partner to ensure smooth data flow and compliance
Monitor truck maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs or inspections
Leadership & Strategy
Identify inefficiencies and implement systems to streamline operations
Develop internal processes and SOPs for dispatch, invoicing, and client onboarding
Support and mentor staff as the team grows
Report to ownership with updates, insights, and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed
Strong time management and ability to prioritize under demanding conditions
Proven experience in operations, logistics, property services, or towing (preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Comfortable with dispatch software, invoicing tools, and basic office tech
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)
Knowledge of Edmonton's condo/property landscape is a plus
