Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Project Management



Plan, schedule, and oversee all concrete projects (residential, commercial, and industrial) Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company quality standards Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper execution and safety compliance

Team Leadership



Lead, train, and supervise foremen and concrete crews Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and performance standards Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity Address performance issues and support team development

Quality Control & Safety



Ensure all work meets industry standards, specifications, and client expectations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times Enforce OSHA / Alberta OH&S regulations and company safety protocols Investigate and resolve job site issues or deficiencies

Client & Vendor Coordination



Act as the main point of contact for clients during active projects Communicate timelines, changes, and progress updates Coordinate with suppliers for concrete, rebar, forms, and equipment Resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently

Administration & Reporting



Track job costs, labor hours, and material usage Assist with estimating, job costing, and project forecasting Submit daily and weekly reports to ownership Work with office staff on invoicing, change orders, and scheduling
Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience in concrete construction or civil work Previous experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or Operations Manager preferred Strong understanding of forming, pouring, finishing, and curing processes Proven leadership and crew management experience Ability to read drawings, plans, and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Experience with scheduling or field management software is an asset

Pay: $47,612.97-$115,932.22 per year
