JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Manager - Deliveries is responsible for all aspects of the organization's final mile operations. They coordinate home delivery operations from businesses direct to the end consumer ensuring accurate and one-time shipments. They are also responsible for planning, organizing and leading the activities of the Final Mile Team.
RESPONSIBILITES
Route Audits (random and unannounced delivery audits)
Collaboration, development and updating of delivery training materials
Comprehensive knowledge of all Client/Retailer SOP's
NPS awareness, auditing and improvement programs
Assist Delivery Partners with Delivery Partner documents and renewals (1st level of escalation)
Regular participation in dock meetings and load outs
Assist in managing all operations team personal - hiring, scheduling, development
Create and manage solutions for peaks and valleys of volume with our customers
Maintain targets, objectives and customer driven KPI's and metrics
Manage SOP adherence and identify potential gaps for continuous improvement
Perform annual reviews for all delivery operations group employees
Manage Delivery Partners ensuring drivers are following all SOPs when performing deliveries
Manage billing for all Dedicated Accounts and some comingle accounts
Manage hours/payroll for all delivery operations employees
Assist escalate Customer Service issues
Create and Manage new processes for all Final Mile operations as the business needs
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in Final Mile Operations or a similar leadership position
5 years of proven success in Final Mile or similar industry
Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both written and oral forms
