We're looking for a hands-on, organized, and personable Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of two unique hospitality properties in Prince Edward County. Looking to take the next step in your hospitality career? This could be the perfect fit!
These properties operate with a virtual guest experience, but we believe "virtual" should never feel impersonal. That's where you come in.
As the face behind the scenes, you'll make sure everything runs smoothly: from keeping the spaces spotless and well-stocked to communicating with guests and responding to unexpected issues. This is a dynamic, independent role -- perfect for someone who loves variety, takes pride in thoughtful hospitality, and enjoys ensuring everything works seamlessly.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations at both properties, ensuring upkeep, cleanliness, and smooth guest experiences
Handle all guest communications via booking platforms and email
Respond to guest concerns, last-minute issues, and special requests promptly and professionally
Monitor guest feedback and reviews; identify trends and collaborate with ownership on improvements
Serve as the first point of contact for time-sensitive guest issues or on-site emergencies
Manage and perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms and cottages, creating schedules, maintaining checklists, and ensuring quality control
Help develop and maintain checklists or SOPs for cleaning, restocking, and daily operations
Conduct regular property inspections, coordinate light maintenance, and keep supplies stocked
Track and manage inventory of linens, toiletries, cleaning products, and other guest supplies
Build and maintain relationships with local vendors, contractors, and service providers
Support the onboarding and training of seasonal cleaning or operations staff as needed
Work with owners and vendors on service needs, improvement projects, or upgrades
Monitor and maintain smooth operation of virtual check-in systems (e.g. Yale smart locks)
Assist with seasonal planning and scaling operations based on peak and off-peak needs
Manage and create content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Post regularly, respond to comments and DMs, and engage with our online community
Capture on-site content and assist with coordinating marketing efforts, promotions, and partnerships
Above all, you'll help create a consistent and memorable experience that keeps guests coming back
Qualifications
Previous hospitality, housekeeping management, or hotel operations experience preferred
Bonus points for being local to the County
Strong communication and customer service skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable using booking platforms and smart lock systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
