Role Overview
As Operations Manager, you'll blend remote oversight with regular on-site visits to ensure smooth, efficient operations and high-quality service across all current and future store locations.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
Partner with store managers to oversee vended self serve, wash-and-fold, dry-cleaning, and tailoring services.
Equipment & Facility Oversight:
Manage preventive maintenance and quickly resolve equipment issues.
Process Improvement:
Develop, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency and service excellence.
Team Development:
Train, coach, and motivate staff--fostering a positive culture and peak performance.
Customer Relations:
Build strong customer connections and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
Performance Metrics:
Define, track, and analyze KPIs to inform data-driven decisions.
Financial Support:
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
Inventory Control:
Oversee ordering and inventory levels for supplies to minimize waste.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all sites meet health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Core Competencies
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Expertise in SOP development and process optimisation
Comfort with data analysis and KPI-tracking tools
Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting
Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time-management abilities
Qualifications
3+ years of retail leadership or experience in a customer-focused environment
Proven track record leading multi-site teams and meeting performance targets
Hands-on equipment maintenance and vendor-coordination experience
Bachelors in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Full-time availability with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Location & Travel Expectations
Hybrid:
Primarily remote, with 1-2 weekly visits per store in Cambridge & Ajax.
Expansion:
As we add Etobicoke, Windsor, Sarnia locations and beyond, on-site visits will rotate and individual store visits will decrease.
Travel Compensation:
All travel outside the GTA/Region of Waterloo is fully reimbursed.
