Based in Dartmouth, Precision BioLogic is a privately held medical device company that develops, manufactures, and markets a range of specialty diagnostic products used to assess blood coagulation disorders in clinical laboratories around the world. The company has developed a strong reputation in its niche and counts most of the major hospitals and reference laboratories in North America among its direct customers.

We're looking for an Operations (Lab) Technologist to join our Operations team.

The Operations team is responsible for the manufacture of our products performed within a lab. This position is responsible for assisting the team with the manufacture of our products.

The role responsibilities of an

Operations (Lab) Technologist

are:

Participate in the manufacture of all final products (lab-based work requiring knowledge and skill within a lab setting)

Preparation of buffers and solutions

Production day support including dispensing, capping, and freezing of final product.

Complete documentation of manufacturing records

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and supplies for the lab.

Performing of lab equipment maintenance (lab analyzers, thermometers, pipettes, etc.)

Incoming inspection of chemicals and other raw materials

Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, dependable, able to show initiative and communicate with their team and other departments when needed and possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow into new roles.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

BSc in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, etc. required.

Lab based experience.

1-3 years' experience in a related field an asset

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
