We are seeking a reliable and organized Operations & Fleet Supervisor to support our daily operational needs, fleet management, and yard organization--working closely under the direction of management.
Position Overview:
The Operations & Fleet Supervisor plays a key support role in ensuring our fleet, yard, and dispatch operations run smoothly. This position does not oversee general company operations but instead collaborates with management and vendors/suppliers to efficiently coordinate fleet activity and maintain operational readiness.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with evening dispatch duties from home and
occasional weekend availability (remote)
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Maintenance Support:
Coordinate with senior management and mechanics to schedule fleet repairs and
routine maintenance.
Inventory Coordination:
Track and manage inventory related to fleet equipment and consumable materials.
Yard Organization & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard space; assist with equipment staging and
storage.
Operational Coverage
Covering for certain roles on an as needed basis to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in fleet, yard, or operations support--ideally in a high-paced
environment
Familiarity with the construction industry, especially folding boom cranes, is a
strong asset
Experience in basic dispatching also a plus
Understanding of commercial vehicle and crane maintenance practices
Able to lift 45 lbs and work outside in all seasons
Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license is an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work collaboratively under the direction of management
