We are looking for an experienced Control Room Operator/Operations Dispatcher to work at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, B.C. As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner. - Dispatch security officers
- Follow incident SOP
- Assist police with footage review
- Answer phones, radio calls, emails and responds to walk in inquires
- Provides keys to contractors and access
- Sends shift summary, status reposts and escalates incidents
- Assists with key auditing
- Assists with memo assignments
- Completes daily escalator/elevator log
- Respond to alarms on the fire computer
- Assigning daily tasks to the officers on duty
- Possession of a valid BC Security Guard Licence
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 considered an asset
- Availability to work days/afternoon/graveyard shifts
- Strong customer service skills
