Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our trucking company. The ideal candidate will assist in managing dispatch, payroll, and various other administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. This role will require strong multitasking abilities, a solid understanding of logistics, and the ability to work closely with drivers and team members to optimize the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Dispatch Coordination:

Assist with daily dispatch operations, ensuring safe and timely delivery and troubleshooting through unexpected situations. Communicate with drivers to provide updates on load assignments and route changes. Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise. Maintain and update dispatch schedules and customer delivery timelines.

Payroll Administration:

Assistance in processing weekly payroll for drivers and other staff, ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked, overtime, and deductions. Verify timesheets and manage any discrepancies related to payroll.

Operations Support:

Help monitor driver performance, ensuring adherence to company protocols, safety regulations, and DOT requirements.

Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with customers to update them on deliveries and address any issues or concerns. Assist in the coordination of customer inquiries and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.

Administrative Functions:

Maintain accurate records of dispatch, payroll, maintenance schedules, and other operational documentation. Assist with reporting on key performance metrics and other operational data as needed. Perform general office duties, including answering phones, filing documents, and maintaining the office environment.

Other Tasks:

Take on other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:



Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in the transportation industry. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
