Job Description

The Operations team plays a vital role in the future of Royal Roads University (RRU), providing an integrated administrative, fiscally sound and data-driven foundation and infrastructure for the Advancement and Alumni Relations teams and the broader External Relations portfolio.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working collaboratively with Advancement, Alumni Relations and Operations team members, the Operations Coordinator, Data Management, is a database and finance professional accountable for data research, health and management activities, as well as for the implementation of administrative and financial processes.


The Operations Coordinator, Data Management initiates and responds to research and data requests received primarily from the External Relations portfolio and leads data health- and management-related initiatives. The Operations Coordinator, Data Management serves as a secondary administrator of Raiser's Edge NXT (RENXT) CRM fundraising software and as the primary administrator of the External Relations portfolio's email solution platform(s).


Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail orientation Exceptional organizational abilities, including priority setting, time management and project management skills. High-level of proficiency in using RENXT and Envoke (or similar database/platform). Proven ability to develop collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Superior communications skills. Proven ability to manage data ethically, accurately and confidentially. Proven ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as to work independently while exercising good judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends; some travel is required

Preferred Qualifications:


Working knowledge of Canada Post guidelines, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, BC FOIPPA legislation and RRU policies, standards, and procedures considered an asset. Knowledge of the University, its heritage aspects, programs, and the RRU learning experience is considered an asset.

Additional Information
This is a regular, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. This position has been evaluated at ADM-D with a salary range of $59,484 (minimum) to $69,884 (midpoint) to $80,284 (maximum) per annum. Employment offers will normally be made between the minimum and midpoint of the range and are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity.
