Starvox Entertainment is looking for a friendly, extroverted, and professional Operations Associate for a seasonal position for an upcoming dinner theatre production this winter in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have experience and comfort working with merchandise and ticket sales in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational and sales skills are essential to the role.

POSITION SUMMARY

All Operations Associates will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about products offered and working collaboratively with their coworkers to provide superior customer service. Operations Associates will share the common goal of maximizing sales through positive guest interactions and strategic sales techniques, and work under the directive of their manager to meet sales goals and boost KPI's as well as taking on operational duties such as ticket scanning when required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Available to work Full Time from Jan 5 - 11 2026 Connect with every guest to ensure they feel welcome Deliver superior customer service and create a memorable guest experience while maintaining operational goals Familiar with ticket scanning protocols Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to complete transactions in accordance with company policy Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet sales targets of the store Follow directives of management to increase KPI's and meet sales goals Take cash payments in accordance with established company cash handling policy Work collaboratively with coworkers to foster a positive and productive work environment Maintain detailed knowledge of the stores offerings in order to personalize product recommendations for each and every customer Assist with regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures Ensure that the sales floor is neat, and that merchandise is attractively displayed Assist with restocking the sales floor Assist with maintaining the stockroom and preparing inventory for the floor Assist with the receiving and processing of shipments as necessary Maintain a familiarity and working knowledge of the show and the content featured Maintain a familiarity of product locations both in the stockroom and on the sales floor
