Job Summary

You will work as a key member of our Operations team, be self-motivated, organized individual, enjoy interacting with team members, working in a fast-paced environment, and finding new ways to add value to our customers operations and increase customer base. The successful candidate will be a result driven, motivated individual with attention to details experienced with managing customer relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

Process requests for shipping (air and ocean) from start to finish Schedule shipment pickups with local carriers Track & schedule incoming freight loads Receive and respond to prospective customer inquiries for freight Maintain shipping and receiving documentation Conduct daily work operations efficiently Maintain effective communication and that our service standards are upheld Ensure customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution Assess customer's needs and provide effective solution Identify and close cross-sell opportunities within existing clients Manage and Grow customer relationships Other duties as assigned. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Work Experience and skills

Previous work experience in freight forwarding operations is an asset Strong and effective communication with team and partners Strong Microsoft office skills and Google workspace skills CIFFA and IATA License is an asset Must be a dynamic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and prioritize tasks accordingly Must be able to pick up new concepts and learn new systems quickly Working knowledge of safe lifting method Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs Organized & extremely detail oriented Must possess a keen eye for details and exhibit ownership
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$37,000.00 per year
