Job Title: Operations Assistant - Driver



Location: St. John's, NL



Position Type: 1 full-time position

The

Operations Assistant - Driver

is responsible for supporting various divisions of the ANC and for assigned transportation requests and providing support when needed in an operations theme.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Transportation of clients to and from various appointments (e.g. school appointments, etc.) Group transports Various transportation and logistical needs as required Procurement requests - picking up orders, deliveries, etc. Operational support - distribution of items etc. Assembling office furniture when required Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid class 5 driver's license is required Minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required Must have a clean driver's abstract Ability to perform physically demanding job duties is required Ability to lift 50 pounds is required Digital literacy is an asset Ability to effectively communicate with Newcomers to Canada Must be able to document and record statistics for reporting purposes Flexible to work outside of standard core hours is required

Conditions of Employment:

Legal authorization to work in Canada Valid class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required Clean driving abstract Flexible to work outside of core hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm) required Position is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Record Screening and Vulnerable Sector Check from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary
