WHAT DOES A FUN INTERNSHIP LOOK LIKE?

If you\'re looking for an internship that will enable you to understand how a manufacturing plant operates and work closely with the continuous improvement, technical support, engineering and production teams. An internship with our team will be perfect for you!
Your main mandate will be to develop and improve production operations under the responsibility of the Industrial Engineering Manager.

Concretely, during this internship, you will have to :
  • Participate in the production launch of new products
  • Design and implement workstation layouts
  • Optimize layouts and work methods by implementing value-added production (VAP) initiatives, 6 sigma, 5s and other approaches
  • Determine the time required to perform a given task
  • Map processes to identify opportunities for improvement (VSM)
  • Participate in KAIZEN activities and lean manufacturing principles in project implementation
  • Implement sustainable solutions to meet production objectives (OHS, quality, costs, deadlines, etc.)
  • Task-based risk analysis
  • Support problem-solving or improvement initiatives arising from day-to-day production activities
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You are in your 2nd year or more of a bachelor\'s degree in industrial engineering or operations and logistics engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma concepts (an asset)
  • You have a working knowledge of Windows Suite and CAD tools
  • You communicate in French and English (an asset)
  • You are autonomous, respectful, customer-oriented, team-oriented and committed to excellence.
