Summary

We are seeking an Operations/Dispatch Support person to join our team in Langley, BC. This office-based position assists with coordinating freight movements, communicating with drivers and customers, and helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations. Previous experience in trucking or transportation is required, whether personal or professional, to ensure a solid understanding of industry language, workflow, and the fast operational pace. Our drivers and office staff work closely together, so the right personality fit is just as important as experience. We're looking for someone self-sufficient, adaptable, and eager to learn quickly. Our office is fast-moving, collaborative, and supportive.

Responsibilities

Support dispatch with daily trip planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet customer and company service expectations. Monitor and update asset tracking systems, ensuring equipment, drivers, and loads are accurately logged and reported. Assist with data collection and reporting on KPIs such as utilization, on-time performance, and maintenance status. Help forecast fleet and equipment needs by maintaining records of unit availability, downtime, and service intervals. Coordinate with HR and management to support driver onboarding, orientation, and training requirements. Assist Safety with incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up actions. Maintain and update SOPs and driver communication materials as required. Support cross-training initiatives by organizing resources and documentation for driver and staff development. Communicate with vendors to schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and track progress to ensure uptime and compliance. Help maintain fleet lifecycle records including warranties, licensing, inspections, and service history. Assist in monitoring telematics, GPS, and equipment management platforms to provide accurate operational information. Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support to both drivers and customers. Contribute to a positive team environment, strong communication, and continuous improvement. Perform additional operational and administrative duties as required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
