SUMMARY
Primary duty is to process routine to moderately complex export transactions. Perform duties related to document preparation (Master AWB) and traffic coordination of export goods (transfer of goods from warehouse to airline). Perform all duties correctly, cost-efficiently, within Company standards, and under the direct supervision of the Department Supervisor.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contacting carriers and negotiate rates
• Prepare documentation and make booking for consolidated air shipments with carrier
• Coordinating consolidated shipments with other DSV branches
• Communicate with country & worldwide offices/agents regarding proper documentation for exports.
• Advise department Supervisor, or Manager of any transaction problems or irregularities.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines, such as the Code of Conduct, assigned work schedules, and attendance requirements.
• Track and trace all shipments

Quality, Health & Safety:

• Supports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 certification.
• Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
• Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience

• A minimum of two years international transportation industry experience or,
• Education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field of study.
• CIFFA certificate, an asset
• Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset
• Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) designated status

Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of building Units Load Device (ULD) pallets
• Good command, both verbal and written, English skills.
• Ability to create collaborative engagements and active listening
• Service oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
• Strong interpersonal skills, building professional relationships internally and externally
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively in order to meet goals and achieve results
• Both a team builder and a team-player
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Language and Computer Skills

• English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
• Microsoft Office suite
• CargoWise experience, an asset

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer
• Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
