OSITION SCOPE The Operations Administrator supports the Director of Property Management in managing day to day building operations across the portfolio by coordinating tenant requests, assisting with maintenance follow ups, and ensuring smooth communication between tenants, building operators, and service providers. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the Director - Property Management in the day-to-day activities for the buildings in the portfolio
Liase with tenant and follow up communications for tenant work requests
Liase with Mobile Building Operator regarding coordination of work
Various administrative functions relating to property management - primarily work orders
Maintenance and updating of tenant and contractor contact information
Administer tenant surveys
Assist with tendering operational contracts (Grounds-keeping and HVAC)
Monitor and follow up on Tenant maintenance requests
Other Duties, as directed
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of related experience or post secondary courses in property management required.
Must have a valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle
Relationship Skills - Ability to communicate effectively. Both written and orally.
Organizational & Time Management - Ability to manage time, assess competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Decision Making Skills - Able to solve problems with tact and sound reasoning
Computer Skills - intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to intuitively navigate various applications.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
All work is performed in a standard office environment with limited exposure to adverse conditions or health and safety risks
Position requires moderate level of sustained visual attention, moderate manual dexterity on a regular basis with sitting at length.
Work requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time but provides the opportunity to alter position and posture as needed
