Assist and manage requests related to daily operations and projects as required.
Evaluate, maintain, and optimize IT/OT Infrastructure (networks, servers, virtualization, and wireless).
Assist or lead in the troubleshooting of system failures, as well as recommending or implementing solutions.
Perform system gap analyses, including technology assessment as needed, as well as road mapping upgrades for computing and network systems.
Validate computing & network system upgrades and improvements in alignment with standards and regulations while also considering user/field experience and security.
Administer, maintain, and support all pipeline SCADA networking communication infrastructure to a 99.9% uptime standard.
Contribute to efforts to improve and standardize SCADA work processes and regulatory requirements.
Work with other departments to support and integrate the SCADA system with other business needs such as Operations, Scheduling, Production Accounting, Commercial & Transport, Production Optimization, Measurement, Project Management, etc.
Advise on SCADA Alarm Management.
Conduct technical trainings and demonstrations for users.
Perform remote or on-site troubleshooting, testing, validating, and commissioning.
Adhere to our internal policies and procedures for architecture, disaster recovery, business continuity, security, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
Work alongside other BITS team members to ensure security standards and processes are implemented, maintained, and optimized.
Participate in periodic security penetration testing and provide knowledge and expertise where appropriate to advance SECURE\xe2\x80\x99s security posture and maturity.
Create, maintain, and update documentation as required.
Participate as a subject matter expert and reference for new designs, implementations, and technologies.
Participate in urgent all-hands service issues, including incident response and perform Route Cause Analysis post-incident.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation with occasional field travel.
Familiar with Industrial Control and Cybersecurity standards, such as ISA 62443, NERC-CIP, ISO 27001, as well as industry best practices
Qualifications/Competencies:
A relevant degree/diploma in Industrial Automation, Information Technology, Networking, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Minimum 5 years experience, in three or more of the following areas:
Installation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of cyber security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEMs, etc.
Working with and administering Windows OS.
Installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting workstations and servers.
Administering and maintaining SCADA applications across a network of multiple servers and clients.
TCP/IP network administration including installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network equipment (switches, routers, and firewalls) and An understanding of Instrumentation & Measurement.
Highly self-motivated with excellent prioritization and time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Ability to self-direct and project management small scale OT projects.
