Job Description

We are looking for an Operational Technology Networking/ Cyber Security Specialist to join our Divisional Pulp and Paper team based in Saint John NB.

We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tons annually of Product and employ over 1000 employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Computer Science, Diploma, or Certifications in Computer Technology, with 5-8 years relevant experience
• Extensive experience with Windows Active Directory environment, Domain Controllers, Firewalls, Switches, VMware, and Networking
• Knowledgeable and skilled in engineering and implementing server and network technology
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices for an industrial manufacturing network
• Self-motivated and flexible
• Sound problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Well-developed written and verbal communications skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proven leadership ability and able to work well within a team.
• Experience with Electrical Controls Systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Rockwell Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Managing, deploying, and patching of a wide variety of OT network equipment within a 24x7 manufacturing environment
• Continually improving the cybersecurity posture of the OT network
• Managing a Windows Active Directory environment and AD policies
• Maintain high reliability and up-time of OT networking equipment.
• Responding to day-to-day Operation\xe2\x80\x99s requests for assistance in a challenging 24x7 operating environment
• Work with plant maintenance and operations teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to process control infrastructure
• Assisting and sometimes supervising Electrical Technicians in their day-to-day maintenance activities, including on-call duties
• Assistance with Capital Projects - planning, designing, and commissioning logic and equipment as required.
