: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum

: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES



Reporting to the Manager, Campus Store and Print Shoppe, the Operational Specialist ensures the digital print production work processes are followed, deadlines are met, exam security processes are followed, print production quality is consistently reviewed, and final output of products are of high standard ensuring customer satisfaction. The Operational Specialist will provide training on digital production processes to Ancillary Services Operational Support Staff. Other responsibilities include ensuring health and safety processes are followed on the Print Shoppe floor and proactively maintaining production equipment and inventory supply.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Degree, diploma or certificate in Print Production or Graphic Design, or a combination of education and experience may be considered Technical print production experience, use of digital print production devices, including monochrome, colour, and wide area format printers, finishing and bindery equipment Demonstrated ability to assist in solution design and provide consultive input and analysis based on client 'best practice' and standards through device/asset reporting, data collection and evaluation vs. predetermined measures Effective planning, organizational and time management skills, including managing floating daily objectives based on urgency and importance Ability to work independently, or as part of a team and to take initiative to improve customer service Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal/external audiences and customers Experience with printer management software and graphic design applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Fiery, Command Station or equivalent) Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS


Knowledge of digital rights management, ILM and course packs
