Job Summary

Think you have what it takes to be our Operational Expert - Back of House & Systems? We\'re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here\'s how we\'ll know you will be successful:

• Attend and lead various team meetings, including 1:1 sessions, to ensure effective coordination.
• Teach, train and build capability with the onsite team
• Identify smallwares and equipment needs, obtain quotes, and manage budget-compliant orders.
• Oversee equipment receipt, cleaning, installation, and circulation processes.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus, ensuring costed recipes and packaging compliance.
• Coordinate menu reviews, approvals, and timely implementation for unit opening.
• Manage supplier accounts, orders, and pricing negotiation for smooth procurement.
• Ensure accurate system setup, training, and product availability before unit launch.
• Execute thorough inventory management and develop inventory storage plans.
• Lead catering operations, including training, standards, and sampling events.
• Organize logistics, security, and training for a successful unit opening.
• Provide computer-based support and training for culinary systems and tools.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications and reporting for project transparency.
• Leverage Learnings and optimize processes.
• Other duties, tasks & responsibilities as assigned.

• A College/University or Apprenticeship program in a related field is required
• A strong understanding of operations in the food service industry is required, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a leadership role.
• A Red Seal in a Culinary-Based designation is a strong asset
• Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring timely mobilization.
• Proficient in kitchen operations and effective troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of culinary and hospitality standards.
• Clear communicator of CGC policies and standards.
• Adaptable team player and role model for new associates.
• Patient, empathetic, and engaging presenter.
• Maintains professionalism consistently.
• Strong problem-solving with creative thinking
• Regular exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme cold/heat, and a moderate noise level
• Ability to travel to sites on demand including up to 25% overnight travel
