The Operational Excellence Manager will lead and work with cross-functional teams to identify and execute strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall performance around Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and Engagement.
Leading discovery and implementation of key improvements across multiple teams, cross functionally and along multiple levels.
Organizing, scheduling, coordinating, following up on tasks as outlined in the improvement plan to achieve agreed up target as per timeline.
Identifying, scoping and executing Continuous Improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop and provide both quantitative and qualitative insights on processes.
Orchestrates efforts and methods to achieve optimal results through people, processes and teams.
Build cohesion and alignment across multiple teams through offering support and seeking input.
Understands changes in the business environment and adjusts strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with corporate and site leadership to share best practices
Adhere to all food, health and safety policies and practices.
Commitment to Quality System Policy.

Post-secondary education or equivalent industry experience
3-5 years leadership in production facility
Food manufacturing experience is an asset
Continuous improvement certification or experience is an asset
Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to work overtime.
Willingness to travel
Understanding of statistics is an asset.
Comfortable with technology
Ability to train and facilitate training.
