Helix Group of Companies is a wireless communications company that first started in 1977 and assists both the private and public sectors with their telecommunication needs, including analogue, digital, and PPT systems that are designed, configured, and programmed to the client\xe2\x80\x99s needs. We primarily work out of Alberta but have expanded into British Columbia with occasional work in Saskatchewan, the Territories, and Ontario. Continued mission for expansion is in progress. In support of this expansion, we are currently accepting applications for an Operation Support Representative to join our team. This position is based out of our Edmonton, AB office. The Operations Department is seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and enjoys problem solving. The candidate must be detail oriented as they would be interacting with various departments daily. We are a dedicated team of people interested in providing accurate services to our internal and external customers. The successful candidate will gain experience with respect to the inner operations of our business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review accuracy of the Sales Team and Accounts Receivable system to the client Purchase Order.
  • Collect all relevant information from sales quotes to generate orders, and invoices.
  • Double-check the quantities and units sold against the quantities and units in Inventory or amounts waiting to be received.
  • Organize and work alongside different departments is crucial for ensuring the coordination of tasks are completed efficiently to finalize Sales Orders.
  • Generate department reporting.
  • Assist with processing data from our various internal systems, Accounting System, and Ticket System
  • Follow up on stale orders.
  • Compare product estimated time of arrival to sales reports.
  • Provide support to Project initiative.
  • Assist with all other duties as required.
Required Experience and Education:
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Understanding of Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving.
  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable is considered an asset.
  • Experience in telecommunications is an asset.
