The Operations Manager will oversee and provide strategic direction across key operational areas -- Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Financial Operations. This position requires a strong leader who excels at decision-making, guiding teams, and maintaining organizational stability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of analytical thinking, leadership presence, and adaptability to handle challenges as they arise while keeping the company focused on its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
Provide leadership and supervision to departmental managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational excellence.
Develop and implement long-term operational strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
Serve as a key decision-maker, providing sound judgment and direction in critical and unexpected situations.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all teams.
Operational Planning & Performance
Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
Lead strategic initiatives to streamline processes, improve service quality, and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure all operations are compliant with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, scheduling, and vendor management.
Anticipate and proactively address logistical challenges to maintain smooth product flow and customer satisfaction.
Optimize supply chain efficiency through cost-effective and reliable strategies.
Warehouse Operations
Provide direction and oversight for warehouse operations, ensuring proper inventory control and facility management.
Implement strategic improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
Supervise warehouse leadership to ensure alignment with company standards and goals.
Customer Service Management
Oversee the customer service function to ensure timely, effective, and professional client interactions.
Guide the development of customer service policies and procedures that improve satisfaction and retention.
Provide leadership support in resolving complex or escalated customer issues.
Financial Oversight & Resource Management
Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives.
Evaluate operational costs and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
Ensure effective resource allocation to support both short-term operations and long-term growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting
, or a related field.
Minimum of
5 years of proven experience
in operations management in a
managerial capacity
, preferably within the
cabinetry, wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution
industries.
Demonstrated ability to make
strategic decisions
and provide
strong leadership
in dynamic environments.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
; experience with
NetSuite
is an asset.
Excellent

and a strong
