About Studio of Legends
Studio of Legends is a growing music recording studio, content production space, and creative hub operating across two Toronto locations. We work with artists, creators, and brands across music, media, and live content.
We are hiring a high-level Operations Manager / Studio Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and help scale the business.
This role is for someone who builds systems, leads people, and drives growth -- not a basic studio attendant.

Role Summary
The Operations Manager will manage day-to-day studio operations across two locations, with full responsibility over the primary studio and light operational oversight of the secondary location (inventory, staffing, maintenance coordination).
You'll be the backbone of the studio -- ensuring smooth operations while improving systems, accountability, and revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Scheduling
Manage daily studio schedules and room bookings
Oversee engineers, session flow, and studio readiness
Open and close the facility as required
Manage studio rentals (recording, content, events)
Staff Management & Hiring
Hire, interview, onboard, and manage engineers, interns, and support staff
Build staff schedules and ensure coverage across both locations
Maintain studio standards, accountability, and professionalism
Memberships & Client Experience
Manage studio memberships and client accounts
Handle client messages, booking inquiries, and issue resolution
Ensure a high-end client experience for artists and creators
Inventory, Purchasing & Facilities
Track and restock inventory (snacks, drinks, cables, mic parts, studio supplies)
Coordinate purchasing and cost control
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovation progress
Coordinate contractors and vendors when needed
Business Growth & Systems
Improve internal workflows and operational systems
Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to increase revenue
Support new services, rentals, and studio expansions
Act as a trusted operator supporting leadership decisions

Ideal Candidate
Experience in operations management, studio management, creative spaces, hospitality, or production environments
Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Comfortable managing people, schedules, vendors, and budgets
Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused
Passion for music, media, or creative industries is a strong plus

Pay: $700.55-$1,518.92 per week
