Our Terra Nova Team is looking for an Operations Coordinator! In this role, you will be the point of contact for day-to-day operations and maintenance coordination activities for the team. You will work with the various offshore teams, as well as the onshore support teams to ensure operational and maintenance concerns are handled in a risk-based, prioritized manner.
Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years of operations and maintenance experience in oil and gas or a related experience in the oil/petrochemical industry with Offshore experience preferred
• A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (i.e., SAP S4, Field Operations and Enablon.)
• Leadership/teamwork behaviors consistent with Suncor values, including supervision, and planning
• Maintain mandatory training and certification for continued offshore work
• Possess a clean driving record

Responsibilities:

• Support the Operations team to deliver, safe, reliable, environmentally sustainable production.
• Ensure all operating crews and key stakeholders are kept informed of issues that impact equipment performance or availability
• Provide guidance and expertise to achieve optimized operation while reaching production target
• Establish maintenance priorities in collaboration with Area Manager, Production
• Communicate daily operating instructions, activities and key performance measures at the daily area team meeting with emphasis on safe work execution
• Support Operations business unit by providing continuous communication between Operations and Maintenance.
• Lead operation's input, review and coordination of capital projects throughout project phases
• Review, accept/refuse and prioritize all SAP notifications and ensure requests are adequate in details

Location and other Key Details:

• This job is located offshore and will travel via helicopter to the Terra Nova FPSO with periodic travel via Supply Boat
• You will work a 3 week on / 3 week off schedule, 12-hour shifts
• This position is safety sensitive
• Qualified residents of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador will be given first consideration in the staffing of this position
