About the Role



We are seeking an experienced

Operations & Administrative Manager

who has a proven track record managing the day-to-day operations of a first aid training centre, or a business in the occupational health and safety sector. This is not an entry-level administrative role -- we are looking for someone who understands the unique demands of the first aid training industry and can take ownership of administrative systems, scheduling, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities



Manage daily operations of our training centre, ensuring smooth delivery of all courses and services. Oversee customer service, student registrations, and inquiries to ensure a positive client experience. Coordinate instructor schedules and training room logistics. Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC and other regulatory requirements for training delivery. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation required for audits and contracts. Assist in business development activities, including liaising with corporate clients. Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships. Implement and improve administrative processes and systems.

Required Qualifications



Extensive experience (5+ years) managing or administrating a first aid training centre or similar occupational health and safety business.

Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC-approved first aid training standards and compliance requirements. Proven ability to independently manage office operations, scheduling, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. High proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, scheduling systems). Ability to work on-site and occasionally outside standard business hours if required.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience with LMS or course registration systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
