We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Operating Controller to join our client, a leading organization in the environmental services sector, with a strong focus on Renewable Natural Gas initiatives. This is a 100% onsite role located in convenient Midtown Toronto, easily accessible via TTC.This is an exciting opportunity tailor-made for a Big 4-trained CPA eager to bring their expertise to a fast-paced, dynamic family office environment. With no direct reports but significant responsibility, this role demands exceptional financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in high-pressure settings.Please note that the qualifications listed below are all mandatory.

• Big 4 CPA required.
• 6+ years in an Assistant Controller/Controller capacity with FP& A Industry experience.
• Preparing Journal Entries Based on Actual Financial Performance - revenue earned, expenses incurred, accruals & deferrals, record asset depreciation, closing entries.
• Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting, Advanced Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, and Stress Testing to drive data-informed decision-making and risk assessment.
• Proficient in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting P& L Statements and Comprehensive Financial Statements with a focus on accuracy and actionable insights.
• Strong ability to delve deep into financial data to ensure accuracy and precision, recognizing that these reports provide critical insights for C-Suite executives and decision-making.
• Expertise in thoroughly analyzing and evaluating every component of financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create dynamic financial models, in-depth data analysis, and executive-level presentations.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
