About Us : We are a locally owned and operated tire distributor, providing high-quality tires and tire-related products to customers across the region for 50years and counting. With a focus on exceptional customer service and product knowledge, we are looking to expand our sales team with a motivated, dynamic, and results-driven individual to join us as an On-the-Road Tire Salesman .
: As an On-the-Road Tire Salesman, you will be responsible for driving sales by engaging directly with businesses and customers. You will travel to various locations to promote, sell, and distribute our wide range of tire products. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, possess a strong sales ability, and have a solid understanding of tire products and services.
Key Responsibilities :
• Travel to meet with current and prospective clients, including auto repair shops, dealerships, and commercial fleets.
• Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and expert advice.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate tire products and services.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms based on customer needs and company policies.
• Keep track of inventory, sales, and order fulfillment to ensure timely deliveries.
• Represent the company at trade shows and local events to promote products and build brand awareness.
• Stay up to date on tire industry trends, product offerings, and competitor activity.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Qualifications :
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or tire industry.
• Strong knowledge of tire types, specifications, and applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills to manage orders and customer data.
• Physical ability to handle tire deliveries and lifting.
