We are looking for a Site Coordinator for a 12 month hotel renovation project.
Pay is dependent upon skills and experience.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain comprehensive site safety documentation.
Conduct safety orientations for all new site personnel and visitors.
Provide support to site crew and construction manager, including handling correspondence, preparing documents, and scheduling meetings.
Issuing POs to vendors and process invoices for payment.
Manage communication channels, such as phone calls and emails.
Maintain filing systems and ensure the proper retention, protection, and disposal of records.
Manage data entry and other record-keeping tasks.
Oversee site supplies to ensure resources are available when needed.
Daily periodic site monitoring.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:
First Aid (OFS Level 1) Certification required.
Have basic computer knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Residential/Light Commercial construction experience is preferred.
Punctual and reliable.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable tracking office budgets, expenses, and supplies.
Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to a collaborative office culture.
Ability to read blueprints (demolition and construction plans, material specifications, etc.) considered an asset.
Procore and/or MS Project experience is an asset.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
