Current Opportunity: Onsite Photographer & Office Team Member

Photography onsite throughout lower mainland and office located in South Surrey

Type:

Full-Time, On-site and in office, multi-role position.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys variety in their day, is great with kids and can keep multiple parts of a busy office moving efficiently. You will work closely with our existing team, photographing youth through school/sport portraits and providing our office team support to ensure daily operations stay on track within the office. The office work will include data entry, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and packaging photos along with many other tasks that arise in a day within our office! While our photography work is highly seasonal, this position is year round. During our peak seasons, the pace is fast and energetic, with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. In the slower periods between seasons, the focus shifts to preparation and planning for the upcoming cycle, offering a more relaxed office rhythm while still staying productive and organized. The photography aspect of the job will be 3-4 times per week starting at a school location generally by 7:45am and then returning to our South Surrey office for the remainder of the work day to help our office team. The days you don't start at a school you will be inside our office for the full day.

Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the team in our South Surrey office Onsite Photography of school/sport portraits Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions or concerns Respond to customer emails in a professional, timely manner Call clients to confirm booking details and prepare them for upcoming photo days Organize, clean, and format data provided by schools and sports teams Perform light image editing or cropping of photos (training provided) Maintain general office organization and help ensure deadlines are met Help schedule or assign tasks to team members as needed

What We're Looking For

A permanent long term member of our team A strong team player who is also comfortable and confident working independently without direct supervision A great personality, the ability to bring high energy when behind the camera. Someone who is patient and is comfortable working with children Previous photography experience is a bonus but not a requirement, we are willing to train the right candidate the photography skills required Highly self-motivated, able to anticipate tasks and act without needing to be asked, a self starter Detail-focused with the ability to stay organized and on top of multiple priorities at once. Comfortable taking direction and able to follow through reliably Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and working with data Willingness to self-teach new tools or programs using online resources when needed Experience with image editing software (Photoshop or Lightroom) is an asset but not required Office management experience or comfort assigning and tracking tasks is a plus Full-time availability during daytime hours (exact schedule would vary) Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to commute to South Surrey or a photo location in the lower mainland reliably Must pass a criminal record check, due to working with student and minor data
