Job Description

We would love to introduce our LWL Education Centre (https://www.lwleducation.com). We primarily work with students 3-13 years old and we are passionate about students reaching their full potential through engaging lessons and holistic learning.

We are hiring for a part-time, online only English/French teachers! Teach 45-55 min online sessions to 3-13 year olds and be paid per class. The curriculum and teaching material is provided.

We will book classes based on your availability and are looking for teachers who are able to conduct classes for students China Standard Time:
UTC/GMT +8 hours Mon-Fri afterschool-evenings
UTC/GMT +8 hours Sat-Sun mornings

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Facilitate fun and instructional online English/French classes to young students aged between 3-13.
2. Leave notes after each class and complete mid-term and final assessments for regular students to track their progress. For new students, complete the trial form during onboarding.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Excellent spoken and written English (for Online English classes) and/or Excellent spoken and written French (for Online French classes) Completion of an Academic Degree in any field, or in their senior year. Ability to present lessons in an engaging and confident manner. Ability to demonstrate compassion towards young children with varying levels of language proficiency. Ability to take initiative and exercise resourcefulness. Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills to interact with students and staff. Proven ability to use an inclusive approach to develop and cultivate relationships with students. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of records and client information. Demonstrated ability to independently exercise appropriate judgment and to make important decisions on matters of varying complexity. Professional demeanor with the demonstrated ability to strategically manage challenges and difficulties. Experience working with young children is considered an asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Flexibility depending on student bookings. Must have access to a personal computer, stable internet connection and a quiet space to conduct lessons. Dress code of business casual.
HIGHLIGHTS:

This position allows you to work from home, no matter where you are in the world. We offer $30 to start depending on experience! Candidates do not need to speak both English and French, we are hiring for both English teachers and French teachers for our teaching programs.
