Who We Are

Toronto Science Academy is an accredited Toronto-based online high school providing Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) courses to students across Canada and internationally. Our program combines self-paced online learning with weekly live tutoring sessions that connect students directly with certified educators.

The Opportunity

We're looking for passionate and knowledgeable Science Teachers who can teach one or more high school science subjects -- Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.

This role involves leading virtual sessions twice a week, evaluating student work, and supporting learners in mastering Ontario curriculum expectations.

What You'll Do

Conduct live Zoom tutoring sessions (typically 2 per week per course). Grade assignments, labs, quizzes, and exams according to provincial standards. Provide clear, constructive feedback that helps students grow academically. Maintain accurate grade records and communicate progress with students. Collaborate with school administrators to ensure instructional consistency and academic integrity.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (required). Experience teaching high school-level Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent experience preferred. Familiarity with online platforms such as Moodle, Google Classroom, or Zoom. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for online teaching.
