Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons, providing feedback to students, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents. We are looking for someone who is able to create a positive learning environment and foster an appreciation of mathematics in our students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students. Evaluate student performance and progress. Provide instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Develop and maintain a positive learning environment for students. Assist students in developing problem-solving skills. Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each student. Creating and distributing educational materials such as notes, assessments, and assignments. Designing and executing educational events and activities. Maintaining a well-organized and tidy classroom/online lesson space setting. Compiling and distributing regular progress reports Participating in parent-teacher interactions Assigning and evaluating homework, projects, and examinations. Preparing students for Provincial exams like PATs Can Teach grades 1 to grade 12 students

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a teacher in Canada Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
