Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Online Instructor to join our virtual teaching team for Fall 2025. This position is ideal for individuals who love working with teens, have a strong science background, and are excited about promoting health and wellness through engaging virtual education.

Current Teaching Needs

We are hiring an instructor to teach two NGSS-aligned online science courses for students ages 13-18:

Sports Physiology & Anatomy for Teens

Thursdays, Sep 4 - Oct 23 2:00 PM EST

Sports Psychology & Nutrition: Strengthening Mind and Body for Sports Success

Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sep 9 - Oct 30 1:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

Teach small-group (2-6 students) live classes via Zoom Deliver interactive and age-appropriate lessons using Canva-based slides Guide students through hands-on science activities using household materials Manage class materials and assignments using Google Drive Maintain professional email communication with students and parents Foster a positive, inclusive virtual classroom experience Adapt instructional approaches to suit diverse learning styles

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or third-year standing in Nutrition, Kinesiology, or a related scientific field Minimum of 1 year of online teaching experience with children or teens Ability to explain scientific concepts in a relatable, engaging way Comfortable using Zoom, Canva, and Google Drive for teaching Must be a Canadian citizen Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free teaching space Police background check required
