Toronto Science Academy is a Toronto-based private online high school offering Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) courses to students locally and internationally. Our flexible online platform allows students to complete high school courses from anywhere in the world while receiving personalized academic support through live tutoring sessions and continuous feedback.

Summary

We are seeking dedicated online high school teachers to join our team for part-time or full-time positions. Teachers will be responsible for delivering live tutoring sessions (2 times per week per class), grading student work, and providing constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging

online tutoring sessions

twice per week via Zoom.

Assess and grade

student assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams. Provide

detailed feedback

to support student learning and improvement. Maintain communication with students and the academic team. Ensure all course materials and grading align with

Ontario curriculum standards

. Participate in occasional staff meetings and teacher training sessions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required); B.Ed. or OCT certification (preferred). Experience teaching high school courses (Grades 9-12). Strong command of English (written and verbal). Comfortable using Moodle, Google Drive, and Zoom. Reliable internet connection and professional online presence. Passion for student success and online education.
