Miss Math Tutoring has been at its East York location for seven years, and in that time, our tutors have helped hundreds of students increase their confidence in mathematics and other subjects.We are looking for new tutors to join our team for this upcoming school year - with the option to work from home and tutor online!Rather than simply doing homework with students, we focus on providing them with quality teaching, to help them truly understand mathematics as well as other subjects. A great candidate will possess the ability to organize and follow through on a well-planned out, easy to understand lesson that engages the student and prepares them to answer the most difficult of questions. Miss Math Tutoring is looking for a committed, hard-working, upbeat and enthusiastic tutor who can teach math and/or science to secondary school students. More specifically, any combination of the following:Grade 11 Biology, Chemistry, Physics
Grade 12 Biology, Chemistry, PhysicsGrade 11 Math
Grade 12 Advanced Functions
Grade 12 Calculus
Grade 12 Data ManagementA great candidate for this job must possess the following qualifications:- Native fluency in English
- Is either in university or is a recent university graduate (a high school diploma is a must)
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
