Duties

Operate commercial dishwashing machines efficiently to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools Manually wash items that cannot go through the dishwasher while adhering to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables or organizing supplies when needed Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for service Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards across all cleaning activities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during busy service hours

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety regulations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Basic understanding of food handling and sanitation practices is advantageous Enthusiasm for hospitality and supporting culinary operations through effective cleaning and prep work
