Navigating traffic with confidence, offering a professional greeting at every stop, and helping people arrive at the right building right on time. You're not just driving a shuttle, you're supporting the daily rhythm of an entire workplace, ensuring staff can focus on their roles while you handle the commute between facilities.
What You'll Do:
Operate a 14-passenger shuttle van safely and confidently
Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects
Follow all traffic laws and company driving policies
Provide professional, courteous, and patient customer service
Maintain accurate manifests, ride logs, and any special-assistance notes
Communicate clearly with dispatch and team members via radio
Follow assigned schedules, adapting calmly to delays when needed
Assist passengers, including those requiring accessibility support, within safe limits
Stay composed and professional in stressful or emergency situations
Complete all paperwork, handovers, and vehicle checks with attention to detail
What We're Looking For:
Valid Class 4 driver's license (a class 1 or 2 license will also be considered)* Clean driver's abstract
Successful criminal background check
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Strong verbal communication and radio-communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and consistent attendance
Positive attitude, patience, and excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail for inspections and record keeping
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with Edmonton and University of Alberta campus routes
Previous shuttle-driving experience
