About the Role

The On-Call Substitute French Teacher will step in to teach scheduled classes--both online and on-site--whenever a regular instructor is unavailable. Lessons are already structured, and resources/materials are provided. You will maintain the flow of the class, support students, and ensure a positive learning experience.

Responsibilities

Teach classes in French (Immersion support, Core French, conversational French, and beginner levels) Follow existing lesson plans and maintain consistency Provide engaging, clear explanations and support student learning Manage small groups or private classes (children, teens, or adults) Communicate professionally with staff when confirming availability

Requirements

Perfectly bilingual (French & English)

French native speaker preferred
